The Community Development Trust Taps Wall Street Investors (pdf)
The Community Development Investment Review (Volume 2, Issue 1, 2006), published by the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, featured a series of articles on community development entities access to capital markets and securing institutional funding for community development assets. Recognized as an industry leader on this issue, CDT was invited to submit a case study highlighting the firm's landmark securitization with Fannie Mae.

CDT Debt Program Hungry for Loans (206K pdf)
Affordable Housing Finance's January 2005 issue included a feature article on CDT's Debt Program. As part the magazine's regular Building Blocks section, senior editor John Zipper reports on the major growth of CDT's loan business in the last year, including highlights of key program features and current lenders working with CDT. Brian Gallagher, the head of CDT's debt business, was interviewed by AHF for the article.

REIT Preserves Affordable Housing (80K pdf)
CDT's acquisition of Neptune Towers, a large multifamily in Lynn, Massachusetts, marked a new milestone in the preservation of older assisted properties. As this feature in Affordable Housing Finance (June 2002) explains, CDT's pioneering transaction involved the exchange of OP Units for ownership interests as a way to defer exit taxes.
